So, there was this competition – ‘100s video competition’, organised by INAE Kanpur (part of IIT Kanpur) wherein we had to convey our doctoral work within 100 seconds in a video format. I thought this was something interesting and decided to participate in this contest. Honestly, it was not as easy as it seemed. So much to talk and so little time…was going crazy!! 😵💫
I started off summarizing the key points of my research publication – the motivation for the work, the technical design of my product developed and its importance, the novelty of the work, the crucial findings, the relevance of the product in a broader picture and then finally, its future prospects.
After hours of writing and editing and rewriting and re-editing to cram all my important points in the set time, the content was ready. Thanks to my elocution skills gained during my school days! In no time, the audio was ready too.
I am so glad that I could gather the courage to take part, my first ever competition after joining PhD 😅. Thanks to the Almighty, I won the second place in the Interdisciplinary field! I am overjoyed to be honest. Therefore, I am sharing the video with you.
